Inspired by the architecture of Thomas Jefferson and a love of working with his hands, Doug began his career in the construction industry in 1970 and spent the next 36 years building a sterling reputation for honesty, integrity and commitment to quality. While he does this kind of work enthusiastically, as Chairman what Doug likes most is building productive teams between clients and Ilex construction staff to build award-winning homes. He is the recipient of awards from the Maryland Historical Trust and many other organizations. Doug currently serves on the boards of the National Sailing Hall of Fame, Chesapeake Bay Yacht Club, President's Advisory Board at Washington College, and The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. His past board affiliations include the Maryland Historical Society, Historical Society of Talbot County, St. Paul's School,Notre Dame College, Valley's Planning Council, Land Preservation Trust, The United Way of Central Maryland and the Baltimore County Planning Board.

Mark G. Guedri
Chief Executive Officer,
Ilex Construction & Development, Inc.
Mark joined Ilex in 2005 and was named CEO in January 2007. Mark is responsible for leading the Executive Management team of Ilex and continues to build upon the impressive heritage of the company. Before joining Ilex, Mark co-founded United Power Corporation, a manufacturer of power conditioning systems in 1987 at the age of 32. Mark sold United Power in 1995 to a multi-national British company and remained for three years to ensure a smooth transition. He later served as Senior Vice President of Matrix Capital Markets Group managing buy-side and sell-side private middle market transactions as well as the firm’s overall business development activities. Mark is a graduate of the University of Richmond and currently serves on the boards of U.S. Structures (Archadeck®) and Benedictine High School. Mark is married, has two daughters, and enjoys basketball and golf.

Talli Oxnam
Vice President of Administration,
Ilex Construction & Development, Inc.
As Vice President of Administration, Talli oversees both Human Resources and the administration at each of Ilex’s regional offices. Since joining Ilex from a business technology company in 1996, Talli has driven the company’s efforts to improve efficiency in all aspects of the business. Trust is the critical ingredient in the success of Ilex. “Our clients have a right to expect that we will do what we say and deliver what we promise. Whether we’re building a 10,000 square foot home or simply hanging a shelf in a kitchen remodeling project, our clients trust Ilex to perform to a higher standard." Beyond her work, Talli is committed to her family and to the Easton community where she volunteers for various non-profit organizations.
