ILEX at the Homestead Preserve

Cradled in Virginia’s Allegheny Mountains, The Homestead Preserve is a conservation-based community designed to reflect the rich architectural heritage of rural western Virginia while preserving the natural landscape of its surroundings.

The Preserve is adjacent to The Homestead, a premier luxury resort that dates back to 1766. Residents of The Preserve enjoy complete access to the amenities at The Homestead through membership in the Homestead Golf and Tennis Club.

ILEX is a proud member of The Homestead Preserve Preferred Builders Guild, one of only a handful of builders approved for this extraordinary community. We are honored to be building more homes at The Preserve than any other custom builder.

Following the standards set forth by The Preserve’s select architects, these homes are built in the highland styles characteristic of this region, and range in size from 2,100 to 13,000 square feet.

ILEX is highly experienced in building secondary residences, allowing us to work closely with The Preserve’s architects and homeowners in order to make the building process seamless and enjoyable.

We have a dedicated team of local talent to build and manage the construction of the vacation homes, and our architectural millwork shops can create custom cabinets, millwork, mouldings, bookcases, gun rooms and other specialty features. Through our established relationships with quality subcontractors and suppliers, we are able to ensure unparalleled workmanship, materials and competitive pricing. The Homestead is committed to excellence and having an enjoyable experience — just like ILEX. Quality…beauty…serenity…satisfaction…enjoyment…and family.
