Seaside Renovation

Overlooking the water, this seaside getaway received a whole house renovation that echos the ease and beauty of its surroundings.

From the pre-finished whitewashed hardwood floors, to the watery-colored tile on the fireplace surround, and the glass countertop reminiscent of sea glass on the kitchen island, all of the home’s elements were carefully chosen to reflect their waterfront views.

Comfort and convenience were also paramount in the renovation. Consider the motorized chandelier, which was installed in the two-story front entry room for easy upkeep. Or the double ovens as well as the double built-in Sub Zero refrigerators with matching cabinet panels, which were installed on either side of the sink in the kitchen.

Luxurious details and finishes abound as well. In the master bathroom, a state-of-the-art frameless shower forms a modern centerpiece. A specialty veneer plaster finish on the master bedroom walls adds color and texture, while a combination of painted white wall cabinets and Sapele veneer cabinets in a quartered pattern create dramatic contrast in the kitchen.
